Sandy Hill Bay is a quiet and protected little beach in Anguilla which is used as an anchoring spot by Anguilla fishermen. The Sandy Hill Bay is located on the north east of the island between “the Valley” and the aforementioned Junks Hole. The Sandy Hill Bay, Anguilla is very popular with the locals for family picnicking.

Sandy Hill Bay is ideal for bathing, sun tanning and snorkeling since the currents are gentle and calm. There are no restaurants or accommodation on the beach, but atop Sandy Hill is the local police station and a few personal residences. Villas and apartments in the neighboring hillsides are available at Woburn Villa and Sandy Hill Club a new condo development.

To arrive at Sandy Hill Bay beach, Anguilla: Starting from the airport parking lot, exit and turn left, continue straight past Island Car Rentals and National Bank, Turn right at the traffic light by Barclays Bank toward the Farrington and East End Village. You will pass Proctor’s Grocery store, then Tropical Flower Wholesale, then turn right on a dirt road just before the roundabout. Follow this road straight for a few hundred yards to Sandy Hill Bay beach.
